Extreme Weather Conditions

Due to exceptional weather conditions Peacock Salt has been asked to prioritise deliveries to Hospitals and Critical Public sector Organisations.

The supply of salt to the UK is currently all but exhausted to all but Councils and Trunk road operators

We are processing orders that we have taken over the past few days. These run into the thousands and at this stage we do not anticipate any further orders received to be processed and delivered until the end of February.

Please do not call to progress orders. It prevents us putting orders on the system. We have been working every day mostly 24 hours since the 15th December. If our staff are anything but professional please remember the hours they have put in to handling your orders and queries throughout the Christmas period.

We and the rest of the UK are experiencing difficulties with delivery due to poor road conditions. This combined with the very low temperatures that affect our bagging lines is causing our production to be running at about 50% of expected targets.
