Himalayan Pink Rock Salt
Sourced direct, Himalayan pink rock salt is mined from salt seams formed around 600 million years ago from an evaporated inland sea. Rich in calcium, sodium, potassium and around 80 other trace minerals, it gets its famous pink hue from its iron content. Popular as an alternative to white table salt, Himalayan pink salt has a slightly sweeter taste and is regarded as being a more natural and unspoiled salt.
