Installation and Maintenance

Peacock Care

Peacock install, service and maintain the Saturator System throughout the full life cycle through a Service Package. This can include:

  • Planning, design and customer agreement before manufacturing commencement.
  • Installation and training. Our standard training ensures users are confident and competent in the working of our system. Our staff hold Train the Trainer Certificates and are available to coach and develop user understanding throughout the lifetime of the system.
  • Superuser training (depending on package) to upskill customer’s own staff and help those customers who wish to be self-sufficient.
  • Annual pre and post season visits (2 scheduled, depending on package). This enhances the performance of the machine and triggers the applicable warranty conditions.
  • Mid-season visits (depending on package) aimed at prolonging componentry with an additional check-up during the season.
  • Retrofit / life extension works. The estimated lifespan of the tank is over 20 years. Controls and components can be retrofitted without changing the tank, this enhances the lifetime of the system, reduces long-term costs and by re-using the tank it reduces the environmental impact of the tank fabrication.

Delivery and Installation

Ahead of any saturator installation we will visit site to conduct a site survey and help advise on optimal site location and specification to meet your requirements. We can accommodate single phase or three phase power supplies and have designed saturators to accommodate water inlet rates of over 10,000liters per hour. We are able to supply concrete base plans to meet your present requirements and will also work with you over the years to accommodate larger brine capacities as your needs develop. All of our systems are modular and are future-proofed for such eventualities. We work with a wide range of suppliers to help us problem solve site specific needs including pumping, access, working from height, containment and other issues.

Maintenance

We aim to provide a fantastic solution which is fit for purpose and long-standing. Our Team have installed over 140+ saturators throughout the UK and Ireland since 1990 and have an unrivalled depth and knowledge of various saturator systems.


First, we try to prevent downtime by engineering out potential faults. Our hardware consists of high-end components specifically built for use with sodium chloride brine and to operate outdoors, throughout the year, specifically in freezing temperatures (to -25’C). Features such as controlled log in, fully automated valves and breakaway couplings remove the potential for human error to interfere with the brine production process.

 
80% of faults that do occur within our saturator systems are resolved within the first 24 hours. Through 2-way remote technology, telephone support or site attendance we’ll ensure downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. We have an established UK and Ireland wide service network but also have a team of trained in-house mechanics.
