Great service from peacock and the product works well (1 month in ) The only thing that lets them down is the poor product packaging and even poorer shipping . Twice I have ordered a pallet of 20 bags to find the outer side bags ripped and spilling contents when the plastic outer load wrap is removed . This makes long term storage very difficult . Even the delivery driver admitted this is a common occurrence with this product. If this is solved , I would gladly give 5*

We're sorry to hear about the packaging and load wrap issues on your pallet deliveries — that's not the standard we aim for, and we understand how frustrating it must be when it affects your ability to store the product long-term. We take this seriously and will be looking into both the packaging and the way pallets are wrapped for transit to prevent this happening again.

Good enough, but ....
As far as I can tell, this product does the job it's intended to do but, for the second time in a row now, the bags I ordered have sprung a small leak by the time they arrived at my house, so that salt was not only in the sacks but also in the box holding the bags. Perhaps they need to be packaged in stringer plastic bags?
To deliver this product we will need to know whether you have a fork lift available on site.
With fork lift: 49per pallet.
Without fork lift: 40per pallet. Tail lift and pallet truck will be provided.

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery 3-5 days
Prices include standard delivery Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm within mainland UK. We cannot guarantee a call prior to delivery on a standard service for orders of 10 pallets or less.
Deliveries will be made as close as possible kerbside on flat hardstanding ground, anything over and above this is at the discretion of the delivering driver.

If events occur including but not limited to a delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over, or by any event which is out of our reasonable control (including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us), we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person.
Deliveries cannot be left unattended without a signature unless you state otherwise.
During the winter season we ask that you recognise that this is an extremely busy period for all couriers and they are unable to guarantee a fixed delivery timing. We ask you for your understanding.
Special Delivery Requests
Special delivery services are offered at a surcharge as follows:
If a call prior is required, this is classed as a ‘Book In’ and is charged at £20 per consignment.
Express delivery is available (next day exc. weekends) on orders placed before 11am at a cost of £20 per pallet.
Timed delivery £20 per consignment.
Saturday delivery charges may vary based on hauliers but usually at maximum of £50 per consignment and orders must be placed before 11am on Friday.
PLEASE NOTE: Any special delivery requirements out with standard delivery must be stated in the Special Delivery Instructions box during the checkout process. Delivery surcharges will be billed separately, a member of our team will contact you for payment.
