Our 25kg bags of Brown De-icing Rock Salt (Grit) are available individually or as full and half pallets loads. Also available in 1000kg bags & bulk loads.

Brown Rock Salt:

  • Conforms to BS3247:2011, the British Standard for de-icing salt.
  • Traditionally known as ‘road grit’.
  • Raw, indigenous product mined in the UK & Ireland.
  • Typically 5-8% naturally occurring grit particles (insoluble).
  • Treated with an anti-caking agent.
  • Bulk loads of 10, 20 and 28 tonnes loads available at competitive prices.

    Rock salt delivery
    We used Peacock for the first time recently. We are a school and rely heavily on rock salt to keep our playground surfaces free of ice, frost and sometimes snow.
    We were very pleased with the service we received. Shortly after ordering there was a follow up phone call to confirm our delivery date and our driver went the extra mile getting the load to site (we have very narrow rounds), a polite and professional service from start to finish and a great price too! Highly recommended - we will be back next year for sure.

With fork lift: 49per pallet.

Without fork lift: 40per pallet. Tail lift and pallet truck will be provided.
